Dave Drelinger has been a part of the Sacramento District 6 community for many years, working to make it a better place. He was raised in the local foster and group home system and graduated from Lincoln Law School. He is a registered Legal Document Assistant who uses his experience and Juris Doctorate to help create equal access to the legal system.

Dave is an activist who is willing to fight for what he believes in, which is why he is running for this position. His goal is to unite our community and make it a safer, better place for all. Dave believes creating shelter security in Sacramento is the immediate way to uplift our City‘s disenfranchised while simultaneously supporting education, mental health services, small businesses and lowering crime rates. He believes the City of Sacramento should enter the housing market as a participant in order to create transitional and affordable housing immediately.
